SImon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for Kids

Hello, I thought it would be nice to enter the Simon Says Stamp challenge for kids. My son Alexis is 8 years old and always wants to make cards with me, but I just hate letting him use all my good stuff (selfish much)! Anyway, he could have created so many childlike looking cards but for some reason he chose to use Avery Elle's Petals & Stems stamp set. he was super excited when I told him I would enter him because he knows how much I follow and love paper crafting.

He used scrap paper that I had and ended up choosing a better color palette then I would have ever chosen.

I was super surprised at what he chose to put together from the positioning of the stamps and papers to even putting the sentiment at a diagonal. I'm beginning to think he is better than me! I think it's an awesome card and I first I din't see where he was going with blue flowers and red paper etc, but I love it and now I have a card to send to my mother who is sick!

Thank you Simon Says Stamp for giving us permission to put away our good stuff and giving us another reason to let our children join in on the fun!

My name is Jasmine, and I am a mother who loves all things crafty! I have a son who helps me get artsy and motivated. I started with love for scrap booking and that turned into loving all things paper craft. After finding out all the awesome things I could do, I decided to make this blog and share it with everyone! I truly enjoy card making, watercolor, acrylic painting, mixed media journaling, etc. and even building my own shelving and desks for my crafty needs. (I've gone mad for crafts!!!)

My biggest dream is to

1. Become a design team member of a major stamping company and be recognized by the people I admire most.

2. Have my own business in the art industry, I'd like a place were we can all come together craft, shop, and have fun.

3. Become an art therapist, which is what I am currently attending college for! I hope you enjoy my blog and find some interesting things!
